What does Joss Whedon do when he's bored and has a two week holiday? Invite a load of actors that he's worked with to his house to film a Shakespeare comedy. And keep it completely secret from his hordes of rabid fans, before presenting it as a fait accompli. That is, quite simply, incredible.
I would've wanted to see this just to see Amy Acker play Beatrice, but the depth of acting quality there (and pretties!) is stunning.
Most interesting of the cast list is one Jillian Morgese, whose only other IMDB result is as "Ghoul" on an indie zombie film (and waaay down the castlist on that), and who does not have any major presence on Google beyond articles on this film that give her the full title of "relative unknown Jillian Morgese." She's got the small part of Hero, otherwise known as one of the leads. No pressure there.
Having just written that, I now can't help wondering if Jillian Morgese is a pseudonym actually. There's *nothing* about her on Google and that's very difficult. If it turns out to be Surprise!Summer Glau, I think the internets' collective head may explode.
I really, really want to see this film.
